Daniel Longwill  AIA Principal Architect / Design Director

Founding and Principal Architect, Daniel Longwill, collaborates on the design, architecture and management of multiple projects with his talented team of over 20 years of experience in custom residential design, permitting, and construction.

Danny graduated with a Professional Degree of Architecture from The University of Southern California. There, he earned The USC School of Architecture Dean’s Commendation Award in Housing Design. Before founding Two Trees Architects, Longwill worked as a Project Architect at Neumann Mendro Andrulaitis Architects in Carpinteria, CA for ten years where he enhanced his architecture and design skills. 

Longwill draws inspiration from his team’s dedication and his client’s vision. He has developed a strong appreciation for architecture that reflects each story of the client while being well integrated into the environment. Projects that reflect who the clients are and tell a story of a holistic and harmonious way of living in that landscape. 

Outside of architecture, Longwill leads an active lifestyle that includes surfing and traveling. He currently resides in Ojai with his wife, two children and their pugs, chickens and rabbits.
